Type II is the harder version — not a snapshot, but an independent auditor observing controls operating over months. We chose it deliberately: fleets don't run on promises, and neither should their software vendors. We'll make the report available to customers and prospects under NDA the day it's issued.

Type I vs. Type II, in plain language
A SOC 2 Type I report is a snapshot: an auditor checks that your security controls are designed properly on a single day. A Type II report is the harder one: an independent auditor observes those controls actually operating over a period of months, and reports on whether they held up.
