Load Board Integration

ZuzHQ + DAT Load Board Integration

ZuzHQ integrates with DAT — the largest load board in North America — so dispatchers can search loads, post trucks, pull lane rates, and import booked loads without leaving the TMS. DAT load search and posting happen inside ZuzHQ; rate-confirmed loads flow directly into the dispatch board with customer, equipment, and rate already filled in.

What the integration does

ZuzHQ connects to DAT via the official DAT API. Dispatchers search the DAT load board from inside ZuzHQ, filter by equipment type and lane, and book loads with one click. DAT RateView data shows lane history (low, average, high) so dispatchers can negotiate from facts instead of gut feel.

On the carrier side, ZuzHQ posts available trucks to DAT automatically based on driver location, HOS, and equipment availability. Brokers and shippers searching DAT see your trucks without anyone in your office having to maintain a separate posting dashboard.

Who needs the DAT integration

This integration is for carriers and brokers who actively use DAT as their primary load board.

  • Trucking carriers using DAT to find loads daily
  • Dispatchers spending time switching between DAT and the TMS
  • Brokers who want to post their loads to DAT from inside the TMS
  • Operations that want lane rate intelligence built into dispatch decisions

What flows between ZuzHQ and DAT

Load Search

Search the full DAT load board from inside ZuzHQ with filters for equipment, origin, destination, and pickup window.

DAT RateView

Lane history rates (low, average, high) shown in context so dispatchers can negotiate with confidence.

Truck Posting

Post available trucks to DAT automatically based on current driver location, HOS, and equipment availability.

Booked Loads

When you book a load on DAT, it imports into ZuzHQ's dispatch board with customer, equipment, rate, pickup, and delivery already filled in.

Broker & Carrier Data

DAT broker credit scores, days-to-pay, and authority data shown alongside each load so you only haul for brokers worth hauling for.

How to connect DAT to ZuzHQ

The connection takes about 30 minutes including authentication and feature configuration.

  1. 1

    Have a DAT subscription

You need an active DAT subscription with API access (DAT Power, DAT Pro, or DAT Solo with API). Contact DAT to confirm your plan supports API integration.

  2. 2

    Authenticate ZuzHQ with DAT

In ZuzHQ, go to Settings > Integrations > DAT and enter your DAT API credentials. ZuzHQ verifies the connection and confirms which features your DAT plan supports.

  3. 3

    Configure search defaults

Set your default equipment types, lane preferences, and rate thresholds. ZuzHQ uses these to surface relevant loads first when dispatchers open the DAT search panel.

  4. 4

    Start searching and posting

Dispatchers search DAT loads from the dispatch board, book them, and watch them flow into ZuzHQ as new loads. Truck posting runs automatically based on driver availability.

DAT integration FAQ

Do I need a DAT subscription separate from ZuzHQ?

Yes. DAT is a separate paid service. ZuzHQ integrates with DAT but does not replace the DAT subscription itself — you'll still pay DAT directly for load board access.

Which DAT plans support the API integration?

DAT Power, DAT Pro, and DAT Solo with API access support the integration. Lower-tier DAT plans without API access cannot be connected. Contact DAT to confirm your plan.

Can I use DAT and Truckstop at the same time?

Yes. ZuzHQ supports both DAT and Truckstop simultaneously. Many carriers run both load boards to maximize load coverage, especially in less-saturated lanes.

Does the integration include DAT RateView?

Yes, if your DAT subscription includes RateView. Lane rate history (low, average, high) appears next to each load so dispatchers can negotiate with confidence.
